The following is an honest assessment of what it takes to restore your 944, get it back on the road, and make it mechanically flawless.

Prices quoted are for 1983-1988 era 944s, naturally aspirated once the engine has been removed.

  • Removal and install of engine assembly.

  • Complete front end reseal with all crank shaft seals, counter balance seals, and camshaft seals to also include the flanges and updated oil pump drive.

    Bearings replaced if necessary.

  • Now is a great time to rebuild your torque tube as the bearings are now close to forty years old. While the engine is out, we remove torque tube, clean and paint the outer housing and install 4 new bearings.

    Clutch, pressure plate, release bearing, clutch fork, pin, guide sleeve, pressure plate bolts, flywheel bolts, pilot bearing and crank seal to be replaced. We will also have the flywheel resurfaced.
